The tea bags we chose are smell neutral, and the porous nature of the tea bag material assures that only the great fresh minty smell of catnip goes through your cat toys. In short, you can’t tell the difference between a cat toy that have been filled with just catnip or our catnip tea bags.
Fun Fact: Did you know that regular common tea bags are 30% non-biodegradable? There are two major tea bag paper suppliers in the world, situated in the Philippines. The tea bag paper they manufacture is composed of ofthermoplastic fibers, abaca, and cellulosic fibers. (Abaca is also known as Manila Hemp!)
The tea bags we use are 100% compostable/biodegradable, non-GMO, chemical free and made in USA! They are made with sugar cane composite.

Important note: Do not give our catnip tea bags directly to your cat(s), as they will likely shred them very fast and make quite a mess for you! Our tea bags are meant to be used inside sturdy cat toys!
